The premiere edition of a new online magazine, USYouthBowler.com, was debuted today by the United States Bowling Congress as part of its continuing efforts to serve the needs of USBC Youth members. Building on the success of its print counterpart, US Youth Bowler, the e-magazine includes fresh, entertaining features and bowling tips as well as stories of members' accomplishments and listings of peak performers nationwide. USYouthBowler.com also contains easy links to information on USBC scholarships, scholarship tournaments, the Pepsi USBC Youth Championships and more great opportunities for USBC Youth members.
"The next generation of bowlers expects any organization they join to embrace the electronic method of communication that they use on a daily basis," said USBC Chief Executive Officer Roger Dalkin. "The USBC Youth member e-magazine, USYouthBowler.com, will exceed that expectation with its content, graphics and interactive capabilities."
Although both US Youth Bowler and USYouthBowler.com release new issues on a quarterly basis, ongoing updates to the e-magazine links allow USYouthBowler.com readers to access current information for both fun and reference. For example, the premiere edition's Fantasy Dream Team Game will update its player point standings weekly so USBC Youth members can track the success of their Dream Team players throughout the 2005-06 Professional Bowlers Association season.
